Week Three
DWELL CHURCH
DAY FIFTEEN – Thursday, January 25th
Our Increase of the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation: Lord we ask for a greater measure of the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to fill us as a church body. We pray that Scripture would come alive to us in new ways and that wisdom would abound in our families like never before this year. May a fresh wave of revelation break forth so we may know Jesus more intimately.
  • Ephesians 1:15-17 “I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him.”
DAY SIXTEEN – Friday, January 26th
Our Spiritual Focus and Clarity: Lord, we ask for a clarity and focus this year like Elisha had when the chariot and whirlwind came. May the eyes of our hearts refuse to be distracted, and give us grace to pursue our assignments and not be swayed to the left or to the right or by the noise of the world. May we be dialed in like never before in 2024!
  • Hebrews 12:1 “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.”
DAY SEVENTEEN – Saturday, January 27th
Our Walk with the Holy Spirit: Lord we ask for a deeper nearness and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit in this coming year. We pray we would be more watchful of what we feed our souls, and that we would be vigilant to not grieve the Holy Spirit. May we have grace every day this year to keep in step with Your Spirit.
  • Galatians 5:16 “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh…If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.”
DAY EIGHTEEN – Sunday, January 28th
Our First Love: Jesus, we pray you would keep the flame of our first love burning bright and vibrant within our hearts. May holy fear flood our lives as fuel for the oil in our lamps. May we fall more in love with Jesus than ever before. Restore the joy and passion that we had the moment we first met Jesus and increase it within us!
  • Revelation 2:5 “Think about how far you have fallen! Repent and do the works of love you did at first.”
DAY NINETEEN – Monday, January 29th
Our Unity: Lord we pray for an agreement and oneness to come forth in our church, families, and relationships that we have never dreamed of or experienced. Holy Spirit, we ask you would orchestrate a holy unity in our midst as you did in the UpperRoom. We pray we would be in one mind, one accord, and one in spirit.
  • 1 Corinthians 1:10 “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.”
DAY TWENTY – Tuesday, January 30th
Our Purity, Holiness, and Cleanliness: Lord we ask for a sobriety and awareness of our deep need for a daily washing and cleansing by the blood of Jesus in our lives. May we ascend the hill of the Lord with clean, holy hands, and pure hearts that have no wicked intentions. Purify our motives and our longings to pursue You and You alone.
  • Psalm 24:3-4 “Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart.”
DAY TWENTY-ONE – Wednesday, January 31st
Our Speech + Thought Lives: Holy Spirit, we pray for a fresh conviction not only in the words we speak in public, but what we say in private. We pray that even our innermost thoughts would be pure, holy, and pleasing in the eyes of the God. We ask you would restore a sense of awe, wonder, holiness, and innocence in our speech and thought lives so we may host you better.
  • Psalm 19:14 “May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and Redeemer.”
